Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of AniComment and the community features provided through the hosted AniComment service.
Service scope
AniComment is a spoiler-safe anime discussion and tracking platform. It provides anime metadata browsing, episode-based discussion boards, progress tracking, lists, follows, and moderation tools. AniComment does not host anime video streams, pirate content, or downloadable media.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use AniComment to harass other users, evade moderation, spam, scrape the service in violation of our rules, upload unlawful material, or post content that violates applicable law or our community standards.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs through your account. AniComment may suspend or restrict accounts to address abuse, security issues, payment issues, or policy violations.
User content
You retain responsibility for the comments, profile content, list notes, and other material you submit to AniComment. By submitting content, you grant AniComment the rights needed to store, display, moderate, process, and improve that content as part of operating the service.
Moderation and enforcement
AniComment includes reporting, hiding, soft deletion, suspension, and audit logging capabilities. AniComment and authorized moderators may remove content or restrict access when necessary to enforce community rules, legal obligations, billing rules, or platform safety.
Third-party data and links
Anime metadata may be sourced from AniList, and legal streaming links may appear when available from the provider. Those third-party services operate independently and may have their own terms, policies, availability, and regional restrictions.
Intellectual property
AniComment, including its software, branding, site design, and original platform content, is owned by AniComment and protected by intellectual property law. This agreement does not grant you ownership of the service or permission to copy, resell, or commercially reuse AniComment except where we expressly allow it.
Availability and warranties
AniComment is provided on an as-available basis. We may change, limit, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. Metadata accuracy, airing schedules, and external links depend in part on third-party providers and may change without notice.
Billing and paid features
Paid plans, if offered, are billed through Stripe or another payment provider we authorize. Access to paid features may be limited, downgraded, paused, or canceled when a subscription ends, payment fails beyond any grace period we choose to offer, or abuse or fraud is detected.
